There is nothing going on. Well, there's a lot going on but nothing really that unusual. I'm going to participate in Race for the Cure on Saturday. I was originally going to sign up last month and then I realized that Friday I was scheduled for nose surgery and probably wouldn't be up to walking on Saturday, but my surgery is re-scheduled for next month. It was actually too late to sign up when I found out but Brian's sis-in-law's sister had to back out and I'm taking her spot. So it kind of works out.

We are walking for Carol. She is my old boss. She left the company almost 2 years ago because her breast cancer had spread to her brain. She passed away right before Christmas last year. She was also Brian's sis-in-law's aunt. It's such a small world. We're going to be walking for Team Birt. My work also has a team set up in honor of Carol so I'm sure I'll see a lot of people. And hopefully I find someone to walk with because I think the sister in law is running. Yuck!

Tonight Brian and I are going to a Sugarland concert. It will be fun. We always have fun at concerts. I can't wait. Just a few more hours to go. And I need to take Jillian to soccer practice before we leave, but after that it's just the two of us. Woo hoo!

I can not believe it's almost summer. I have no idea how I'm going to occupy the kids. Most of the time they can occupy themselves, but I'm not sure if I really like them doing the things they like to do day in and day out. There are going to have to be activities.

Brian and I were joking around about Riley being able to go to the pool by himself this year now that he's 13. But the other kids wouldn't be able to go with him because they still need an adult. I can just imagine him floating in the pool, Brian said drinking Mojitos, taunting the other kids while they were sweating on the other side of the fence. But we're not going to tell him he's old enough to go by himself. Just so we don't have any issues. Besides, he is the one who doesn't really like to swim anyway. He says he hates the smell of chlorine. He's one of my weak stomach kids that I talk about. So, they will need to participate in other activities, besides swimming this year. I'm sure I can think of something. Like scooping poop and pulling weeds and cleaning bunny cages...Ah, I'm evil. Ha, ha, ha.
