Predictably Imperfect

Why is it that everything about me just can’t seem to come together all at the same time? I can never have one day where everything seems to work. If I’m having a good hair day I have a pimple. If my face is clear, my eyebrows need waxed. If my brows are waxed my thighs are thunderous. If my thighs look fit I’m bloated. If I’m not bloated then my clothes are fitting just right. Ugh! It’s so frustrating.

  • I can relate.

    There are times that i look in the mirror & see nothing but "omigod, what's that?" Seeing nothing but bulges & ugh. Of course, most of this is residue, as my brain's still adjusting to my smaller size.

    It's your self-image talking. Imperfections make you more human, more approachable. & karen's right; I've got no doubt that your husband & children'd rate you as a '10', regardless of the imperfections.

  • As cliche as this sounds, we are our worst critic. Its too bad that its so much easier to see our imperfections rather than our perfections.

  • I have no idea what's wrong with me these days. I'm having serious self image issues. I think it's because I'm getting old. :)
